Cigna Ajak Karyawan Lakukan Donasi Untuk Pasien Jantung
INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Hundreds of employees of PT Asuransi Cigna (Cigna Indonesia) participated in the Cigna Day 2017 series by conducting challenges of physical activity while donating.
The event was held as a form of World Heart Day celebration that falls on September 29, 2017. From these activities, Cigna and his employees donated a total of Rp 49.850 million to the Indonesian Heart Foundation to assist the heart surgery of underprivileged patients.
This activity is in line with the #BeraniLebihSehat Cigna Indonesia campaign that has been launched in digital space in August 2017, a campaign that invites all Cigna customers and employees to continue to choose healthy lives, anytime anywhere.
"Through this event, Cigna wants to raise public awareness, starting from Cigna employees, about the importance of maintaining heart health. Cigna and the Indonesian Heart Foundation have a mission to raise public awareness about the importance of their health, for which Cigna is happy to work with the Indonesian Heart Foundation in celebration of Cigna Day this year," said Herlin Sutanto, CEO of Cigna Indonesia in Jakarta, Friday (9/29/2017).
Through the activities of Cigna Day 2017, Cigna invites all employees to follow a number of physical activity challenges such as jump rope, squat, battle rope, and others. For every successful physical challenge performed by employees, Cigna and employees donate some money to the Indonesian Heart Foundation.
In addition, employees are also allowed to donate privately through the auction of goods and also purchase a donation pin.
Cigna also held a number of health classes such as basic life support classes, healthy chef classes and cardiovascular health talk shows followed by Cigna employees. With a good understanding of how to maintain heart health, Cigna expects employees to transmit healthy living habits to their closest people.
This event is an initiative of CSR Cigna's worldwide program by creating a live campaign that makes employees more concerned about healthy living from good looks, doing good activities, and feeling good things.
Employees who participate directly in this activity have solidarity in donating donations that will be submitted for the cost of heart surgery of patients in need.
