Indonesian Embassy in Tripoli Encourages Libyan Travel Agents to Explore Tourism Opportunities in Indonesia at Bali & Beyond Travel Fair 2025
INDUSTRY co.id - Tripoli, Libya – “We hope that Libya’s participation in the Bali & Beyond Travel Fair 2025 will enhance tourism cooperation between the two countries, boost business and profitability, and attract more Libyan tourists to visit Indonesia, particularly Bali and other tourist destinations,” stated the Charg eacute; d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Tripoli, Libya, Dr. Dede Achmad Rifai, during an iftar gathering with the leaders of ten prominent Libyan travel agencies in Tripoli on March 13.
During the event, business opportunities and Indonesia’s leading tourist destinations featured in the Bali & Beyond Travel Fair 2025—one of Indonesia’s largest tourism exhibitions—were promoted. The exhibition is scheduled to take place from June 11 to 15, 2025, in Bali. On this occasion, the Indonesian Chargé d’Affaires in Tripoli encouraged Libyan travel agencies to attend and actively participate in the exhibition to expand their business networks and capitalize on the benefits of engaging in the tourism sector with Indonesia.
In addition to promoting the Bali & Beyond Travel Fair 2025, an invitation was extended for Libyan travel agencies to attend the Trade Expo Indonesia, which is set to take place in October 2025. The Indonesian Embassy in Tripoli will facilitate and accompany Libyan travel agencies in attending the Bali & Beyond Travel Fair and collaborate with them in coordinating the participation of Libyan entrepreneurs in the Trade Expo Indonesia 2025.
The Bali & Beyond Travel Fair 2025, which will host hundreds of buyers and sellers from various countries, serves as a crucial platform for the tourism industry to promote its premium products and services. The event underscores the importance of sustainable tourism in supporting economic growth and cultural preservation.
