INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Currently, the modification of motor vehicles, especially four wheels is not just a hobby, but has been transformed into an industry that involves many parties. This is what drives Muscle Car Indonesia (MCI), a container for classic car enthusiasts and sports cars of American, Australian and Japanese manufacturers to support creative and innovative youth activities in the field of car modifications.
The support was realized by MCI by engaging in the Jakarta Custom Culture (JCC) event, an automotive event themed Old School VS New School, where the modified vehicles featured are not only classic vehicles but also sports vehicles of today. The JCC event which will be held on 21-22 October 2017 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, is expected to be not only pawned the modifiers, but also the craftsmen and home manufacturers.
Currently, MCI, a subsidiary of PT Anugerah Kasih Investama (AKI) Group, a company engaged in mergers and acquisitions, has approximately 2 million more active users in social media and the largest digital organization in Indonesia.
"Our involvement here, of course, wants to support young people to continue to work and be creative in the field of modification, because the current modification is no longer just a hobby, but it has become a creative industry," said Victor Wirawan, CEO of PT Anugerah Kasih Investama, as well as MCI founder, in Jakarta, Monday (2/10/2017).
Through this JCC expo, said Victor, it brings together the hobbyists with creative car and motorcycle industry players, especially those engaged in the field of creative components and industries such as car accessories and modified motorcycles can showcase their flagship works, including automotive lovers community .
According to Victor, JCC expo activities are very in tune with the current government programs that want to encourage the growth of small and medium industries (IKM) to fill the growing market potential. It is hoped that the industry that employs these home-based craftsmen will continue to grow and open new job vacancies.
According to him, the potential of creative industries in the automotive sector in Indonesia is quite large. This is evident from the various advances in the field of modifications and accessories, where most of the perpetrators are SMEs who have the opportunity to become a component supplier, as well as completeness of other cars / motorcycles.
