INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the Ministry of Finance is ready to boost tax revenues in the remaining three months in 2017 as the realization of new revenue reaches 60 percent of the target.
"The challenge is still pursuing 40 percent more or about Rp500 trillion, yes we optimize the way of intensification and extensification," said Director of Potential, Compliance, and Tax Receipts DJP Yon Arsal during a press conference in Jakarta, Monday (9/2017)
Yon said, in terms of intensification it will explore potential taxpayers (WP) that have been registered based on valid data. While from extensification, DGT will continue to look for WP that should be listed.
"It's just that, including post-Tax Amnesty follow-up, all wrapped up in that, that's all we're optimizing," Yon said.
Previously DJP recorded tax revenue reached Rp770, 7 trillion or 60 percent of tax revenue target 2017 Rp1.283, 6 trillion. The total revenues of the DGT, including PPh Migas, grew by -2.79 percent (year on year).
The negative growth of DGT receipts is more due to non-recurring receipts, namely Ransom & Revised Final Income Tax, and time difference of UN disbursement & Government-borne Income Tax (DTP) with significant value.
Non-Income Growth of Oil and Gas are outside ransom and beyond all non-recurring and time-varying receipts by 12.6 percent.
Receipts of DGT outside PPh Migas amounted to Rp732, 1 trillion or 59 percent of the target APBN-P 2017 with a growth of -4.70 percent (y-o-y).
Income Tax of Non Oil and Gas by Rp 418 trillion or 56.3 percent from the target of APBN-P 2017 with growth -12.32 percent (yoy) Meanwhile, PPN and PPnBM amounted to Rp307.3 trillion or 64.6 percent of the target of APBN-P 2017 with growth of 13.7 percent (yoy).
