Bank Mandiri is Ready to Distribute Infrastructure Loans

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) began to actively channel credit for funding infrastructure development projects. The BUMN bank is very ready to be involved in any project initiated by Jasa Marga or other state-owned infrastructure.
Especially for toll road financing, Bank Mandiri will be very willing to provide opportunities for various parties to access infrastructure credit funding.
"We are ready to disburse loans for financing the construction of toll roads. Therefore, we are grateful to Jasa Marga who always update the progress of the toll road project," said Alexandra Wiyoso, Senior Executive Vice President Corporate Banking of Bank Mandiri.
Therefore, according to Alexandra, Bank Mandiri's infrastructure loan is targeted to grow 10 percent by the end of 2017.
"In fact, until the end of 2018 later, the credit distribution is expected to reach Rp40 trillion," added Alexandra in Jakarta, Friday (13/10/2017).
According to Bank Mandiri's financial report, total infrastructure credit disbursed as of June 2017 was Rp133.7 trillion, up 15% compared to June 2016.
Of the total credit value, total infrastructure loans disbursed for road and toll financing amounted to Rp8.4 trillion, Rp36 trillion for transportation, Rp27 trillion for electricity and oil and gas and renewable energy of Rp20.9 trillion.
"Meanwhile, total infrastructure loans disbursed for construction financing amounted to Rp.13.1 trillion and Rp8.5 trillion for telematics," added Alexandra. (Abraham Sihombing)
