INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- Limited Liability Company Bank Negara Indonesia Persero Tbk promises to strive to accelerate the return of customer's balance of Rp1.000 deducted due to the maintenance process of the system for Tapenas SiMuda savings product.
"If the process of 'maintenance' has made customer's convenience disturbed, BNI openly apologize," said Corporate Secretary of BNI Kiryanto when contacted by Antara in Jakarta on Friday (20/10/2017)
Kiryanto explained the chronology of the causes of the balance of some customers who cut Rp1.000 on this Friday. Some BNI are changing the parameter setting for the new savings product, Tapenas SiMuda. This savings product is charged (fee) of Rp1,000.
However, the change in cost parameters, said Kiryanto, has an impact on other savings products, outside Tapenas SiMuda.
Therefore, BNI is currently refunding the customer's Rp1,000 balance that should not be charged.
"We are working hard to 'reverse' the debts to be completed as soon as possible," he said.
Kiryanto ensures there will be no financial loss for customers due to this incident.
"Likewise for the bank, there will be no financial losses either from the customer or bank side," he said.
He also confirmed there are no hacking attacks against the system of Information Technology and BNI. The Rp1, 000 balance cut is due to the impact of the system setup effort.
Previously, news of Rp1, 000 balance cuts in a number of BNI customer accounts stems from one BNI customer who wrote the status on Facebook's social media about the lack of balance in his account without a clear explanation.
The status is then viral in social media and leads to alleged hacking attacks.
