INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Indonesian Workers Association (ASPEK) president Mirah Sumirat said that toll road workers are still threatened with termination of employment (PHK) following the implementation of automation on toll roads with non-cash transactions.
"Indeed there will be employees who are diverted in other areas, but it will still be more laid-off, lying to say there will be no layoffs," Mirah said in Jakarta on Tuesday (24/10/2017)
Mirah said the toll road management is already planning to divert the toll collector workers in other fields of work. However, the quota required for the job is only 900 people, while the workers who are threatened to lose their jobs, Mirah estimates to reach 10,000 people.
