Ratification of Public Order Regulation Maintains Ideology of the Nation

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menkopolhukam) Wiranto appreciated the House's approval of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) no. 2 Year 2017 on Community Organizations (CSOs) into law.

"Well, thank God it means there is a togetherness we together to maintain this ideology because this ideology collective agreement of the nation since the first," said Wiranto in Jakarta presidential palace on Tuesday (24/10/2017)

On this day the House of Representatives passed Perppu No. 20 of 2017 on Organization of Public Relations (CSOs) into law through open voting mechanism fraction. From the open voting result, 314 members of the 7 factions agreed, as many as 131 members from 3 factions stated that they did not agree, while the total members were 445 members.

"The ruling is good, I think because the government that proposed the Perppu, the government already from the beginning to consider well, the Perppu is not arbitrary, rather than crediting the Islamic Organization but merely securing our ideology, Pancasila, NKRI," added Wiranto .

Wiranto admitted that there have been several attempts to undermine Pancasila causing national problems.

"Do not let us go there, the prevention is not to the organizations given freedom of movement, using that freedom against ideology," said Wiranto.

He also claimed not to object to some factions who approve the Perppu only with a note or a clearly refused.

"It is not uncommon for everyone to agree, even if there is a system that regulates that the majority will be adopted, it will be the government's duty to pay attention to that revision," Wiranto added. (Ant)
