Wuling Motors Record Sales 2,212 Units For Two Months

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- PT SGMW Motor Indonesia (Wuling Motors) managed to record wholesale sales of 2,212 units during the sales activity in August-September 2017.

The achievement, recognized Brand & Marketing Director of Wuling Motors, Jason Ding as something quite satisfying considering Wuling is a player who really first new jump in the Indonesian automotive market.

"For a start, we are quite satisfied with that number, considering our brand new in Indonesia," Ding said through his written statement in Jakarta (30/10/2017).

Meanwhile, Brand Manager of Wuling Motors, Dian Asmahani said it did not set any sales target in the first year of their presence in Indonesia, although actually some time ago on the sidelines of the announcement of Confero and Confero S prices, Wuling Motors President Xu Feiyun had mentioned the numbers 8,000 units as sales target until the end of 2017.

The wholesale achievement of 2,212 units has not fulfilled the number of Vehicle Booking Letter (SPK) received by Wuling for all models available in Indonesia that have been opened since their participation in PRJ Kemayoran medio June-July 2017.

However, Dian is not pleased to disclose the exact amount of SPK received by Wuling.

Furthermore, Dian revealed that the Highest Variant containing Confero S 1.5L, Confero S 1.5L with Semi-Leather and Confero S 1.5L with Captain Seat became the main leader of their wholesale sales in August-September 2017 with 73 percent contribution.

"The percentage is 73 percent for Confero SL, then Confero only 13 percent and the remaining 14 percent are Confero SC," said Dian.

For favorite colors, still Dian said, the customers tend to be fond of white, black and red as their color choice of five colors are available.
