President Jokowi Appreciates Two French Open Champion

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- President Joko Widodo expressed his congratulations and appreciation for achievement of two titles in the 2017 French Open badminton tournament.

"Congratulations Tontowi / Liliyana and Greysia / Apriyani, French Super Series 2017 champion. They have given a beautiful gift for Youth Pledge -Jkw," said President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) via Twitter monitored in Jakarta, Monday morning (30/10/2017)

President Jokowi specifically gave the congratulations on his personal twitter personal account.

The former governor of DKI Jakarta also said that the title is a beautiful gift for Indonesia in 89th Youth Oath Day.

"We see for ourselves how the tireless struggle of our nation's best sons and daughters as if to affirm the superiority of Indonesia as a great nation that can compete," said President Jokowi, as stated in writing by Deputy Secretary of Protocol, Press and Media Secretariat of President Bey Machmudin .

Recorded two titles successfully achieved Indonesia in the French Open badminton tournament 2017.

Tontowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir managed to become the best in mixed doubles with a straight sets win over China's world number one pair Zheng Siwei and Chen Qingchen at Stade Pierre de Coubertin in Paris on Sunday.

Previously, Greysia Polii and Apriyani Rahayu also managed to make Indonesia Raya song reverberating in the same women's doubles party.

They both frustrate South Korea's double, Lee So-hee and Shing Seung-chan.
