INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology dated October 31, 2017 enforces the mandatory rules of Prepaid Cellular Number Registration namely the New Registration of Prime Number and Re-registration of Old Number by using NIK (Identity Number of Population) and Family Card Number (Kartu Keluarga).

The purpose of the Registration is to provide protection to telecommunication service customers.

Registration procedure contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Number 21 of 2017 on the Second Amendment to the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information No. 12 of 2016 on Telecommunication Services Customer Registration.

New Registration and Re-registration is done independently by sending an SMS according to the format specified by the Cellular Operator. After making a New Registration / Re-registration, Customer will get answer or confirmation from Mobile Operator whether Registration is valid or invalid within 1 x 24 hours.

New Registration Number Prime

New Registration Prime Number begins 31 October 2017, in order Prime Number active must first be done New Registration Number Perdana.

If the SMS is declared valid, then within 1x24 hours, the Initial Number will be activated by the provider.

XL: List # NIK # NumberKK

Re-registration Sim card Old Number:

Re-registration starts October 31, 2017, with the final deadline validated on February 28, 2018.

If the SMS is declared valid, then the number will be kept active.

Re-Registration Form Old SIM Number:

Smartfren: REPEAT # NIK # K #

Tri: REPEAT # NIK # K #

XL: REPEAT # NIK # NumberKK

Telkomsel: REPEAT # #KK #

Registration process is in addition can be done independently by sending an SMS, can also be done by visiting the Cellular Operator outlets. However, for the ease and safeguard of identity security, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology appealed to the public to conduct a New Registration and Re-Registration independently (or own). In addition, it is expected that the public will keep their personal documents such as ID cards and Family Cards from non-responsible parties.
