INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT. Hitachi Asia Indonesia, Hitachi, Ltd. announced the Intelligent Video Analysis System (IVAS) (hereafter referred to as 'system') for Indonesia. The system analyzes the face images captured by security cameras to identify the specific people we want in real-time.

Security efforts in public areas are increasing in many countries. In Indonesia, there is an ever-increasing demand for equipment to ensure and improve security in urban areas and large-scale facilities such as airports, ports, office buildings, schools, shopping centers and other public areas. Thus the company's statement to Industry.co.id in Jakarta, Tuesday (6/11/2017).

To meet those needs, that system
using security cameras or tapes to detect suspicious individuals has become increasingly common.


This launched system will quickly identify the recorded individual by performing similar image searches and comparing face images obtained from security cameras with a database of facial images that have been accumulated in real-time.

By utilizing high-speed search technology for various face images that resemble Hitachi, this system will identify the similarity of individual captured images even though the image is different from the original.

For example, the system can still recognize the image of the individual being caught even though the brightness of the image and the angle of the face are different. Users of this system can also display results by filtering data based on image data, camera IDs and time frames which can certainly reduce manual work processes and improve monitoring efficiency and accuracy. Also quick image search before and after shooting can be done.

By introducing this system to public monitoring operations in public areas or large-scale facilities, the investigation of certain individuals can be more efficient while also improving monitoring functions.

By presenting this system through vendors and business partners, PT. Hitachi Asia Indonesia hopes to contribute to improving the security and prevention of crime in public spaces in order to create a safer and safer environment.
