This Is Noteworthy In The Development Of Fintech Syariah

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - BI Deputy Governor, Sugeng, said fintech sharia is developing. Some countries that develop this fintech like Dubai, Canada, Singapore, and Malaysia. A form of financial technology (tekfin) sharia is developed such as lending services.
"Development of sharia economic financial technology is a matter of concern Indonesia today," said Sugeng.
Sugeng said the application of financial technology in sharia schemes still need to refer to the focus of Islamic economic development in Indonesia.
However, according to Sugeng, there are some things to be of concern. Firstly, strengthening institutional aspects of shariah fintech infrastructure, efficient and effective application of fintech, and socialization of fintech actors of Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia as well as increasing public understanding in general.
Sugeng said, from the application side of many business fields that have the potential to be touched shari'a tekfin, for example the independence of technology-based pesantren. "With so many quality products produced by various pesantrens, fintech syariah can provide a mutual cooperation platform for supply of inter-pesantren products," said Sugeng.
