KSEI Gets Benefits from the Saving of People's Housing

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) assessed that the plan of Tapanakan People's Savings Deposit (Tapera) to be collected in 2019, to PNS, TNI, Polri and BUMN employees, has a positive impact on the number of investors in the capital market.
KSEI President Director Friderica Widyasari said Tapera's potential could contribute 4.5 million Singgle Investor Identification (SID) because the funds Tapera will be entered into Collective Investment Contract (KIK) Mutual Fund.
"Tapera we check one program mandatory civil servants, military, police and state-owned, have savings housing.It is unique that funds are collected in mutual fund KIK, one year incoming funds, there will be 4.5 million new SID from Tapera," he said in Jakarta on Monday (11/20/2017).
KSEI recorded the number of investors through Single Investor Identification (SID) of 1.042 million until the end of August 2017. The figure has increased by 33 percent compared to August 2016 which amounted to 782,511.
According to him, it is ready to be booming SID in KSEI system. "There is already anticipation of SID in our generators, the government can know the number of investors," he said.
