Minister Airlangga Inaugurates Pharmaceutical Factory Worth Rp1 Trillion

INDUSTRY.co.id - Cikarang, Minister of Industry, Airlangga Hartarto today, Thursday (23/11/2017) inaugurated pharmaceutical factory owned by PT Ethica in Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java.

PT Ethica is a pharmaceutical company from a joint venture between Fresenius Kabi AG Germany and PT SOHO Global Health Indonesia.

The plant, which has spent Rp 1 trillion, stands on an area of ​​4.3 hectares and will produce an injection drug.

The injection drug products produced from this factory, aimed primarily at supporting the National Health Insurance (JKN) national program and in the future the plant is also destined to make Indonesia a center for pharmaceutical products production of medicinal injection products for Asian, Australian and European markets.

All product development at the factory is done by the nation's children as a prime resource, in an effort to improve local resources through the transfer of knowledge and technology from global to local.

The existence of this factory is also a proof of ease of investing in Indonesia and in line with Presidential Instruction No. 6/2016 on Acceleration of Pharmaceutical Industry and Medical Device.
