The Government Increases Renewable Energy Search

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) is intensifying the Search for Renewable Energy (EBT) as a substitute for fossils.
Director General of Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (DG EBTKE), Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Rida Mulyana through a written statement received by Antara in Jakarta, Thursday (05/25/2017) said the availability of fossil fuels is currently depleted one of them because of the high usage of BBM For transportation.
"On the other hand, fuel is one element that drives the transportation industry and other industries, so now the government is intensifying efforts to find renewable energy that is expected to replace fossil fuels while encouraging energy conservation efforts without hindering activities Industry and economy, " he said.
He further explained that international cooperation is an absolute necessity because the clean energy technology revolution is a global necessity, and international relations and confidence in the energy field become inevitable for future sustainability.
As part of efforts to encourage the use of new renewable energy and clean energy, the ESDM Ministry in collaboration with the Renewable Energy Society of Indonesia (METI) again held "The 6th Indonesia EBTKE ConEx 2017" on 13-15 September, 2017 at Balai Kartini, Jakarta.
This year's event will be held in conjunction with Indonesia Clean Energy Forum 2017, with the theme "Renewable Energy is a Solution for Energy Security and the Paris Agreement".
The event will be packaged in the form of hi-level meetings, exhibitions, conferences, youth and community forums, and training in support of efforts to find clean energy sources. In this event, the planned International Ineternational Energy Agency (IEA) as an international partner will take part as co-host.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Renewable Energy Society (METI) Suryadarma declared the organization, "The 6th Indonesia EBTKE ConEx 2017 In Conjuction With Indonesia Clean Energy Forum 2017" is an activity that presents interested parties in national and international energy such as government, industry players, Energy experts, and other stakeholders in one place to discuss energy security within the framework of regional and international cooperation.
"Especially for national energy security, the conference sessions on this activity will focus on efforts to find new renewable energy sources in Indonesia, and we hope that the results of this discussion can be a valuable input to the government, particularly in relation to the National Energy Policy and the General Plan National Energy," he said.
