Tiki opens operational office in South Jakarta

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The freight forwarding company PT Citra Van Titipan Kilat (Tiki) inaugurated the operational office and branch outlet of Fatmawati on Jalan Lebak Bulus I, South Jakarta, Monday (28/11/2017).

Tiki Managing Director Tomy Sofhian said the move is part of a 2018 welcome strategy.

"We are building the station and sales counter of Fatmawati branch in order to maximize the services to the community and Tiki customers, especially those in the south of Jakarta," said Tomy.

Tomy hopes that the construction of Fatmawati's station and sales counter will extend the network coverage and marketing of Tiki in Jakarta and out of Jakarta. "Smooth distribution and delivery of goods to consumers will also be better." he said.

Tomy revealed, to date, Tiki has recorded 64 major branches, 153 sub-branch offices, and 1,200 sales outlets. According to him, the addition of outlets in October and November in Jakarta can reach 31 outlets.

The courier company said it will add 20 more outlets in December. "We will make outlets and access as much as possible to get closer to customers," said Tomy.

Tomy said the expansion plan was in line with the company's pickup strategy. That is, in addition to waiting for customers to come to the counter, Tiki will also make pick-up.

However, the service still can not be enjoyed by retail customers because it only applies to corporations who have subscribed. "Our fleet is about 400 in Jakarta," said Tomy.

In addition, says Tomy, Tiki also has a COD (Cash on Delivery) / pay on-site service. COD service that he said is a new breakthrough from Tiki which is a special feature for companies that already have corporate accounts with Tiki.
