INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Ciputra Group is focusing on developing property projects in three countries, namely Vietnam, Cambodia and China. The property project for the next 10 years will include the 300-hectare Hanoi city of 300 hectares in Vietnam, 260 hectares in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and 300 hectares in Shenyang, China.
Managing Director of Ciputra Group, Budiarsa Sastrawinata, said that the selling rate of the three foreign projects of Ciputra is quite good. However, the company does not yet have plans for expansion into new territory.
All three projects still require a long development time. "We also have not found a new opportunity other than in the three countries," Budiarsa said as quoted from the press release on Friday (1/12/2017).
Ciputra handles overseas projects through a separate division under International City Development Pte Ltd (ICD). In a project in Hanoi that has been developed since 2003, Ciputra has also sold approximately 4 hectares of land to Lotte Shopping Mall last year to be developed as a commercial project.
Director of Ciputra Group, Agus Surja Widjaja, added that currently it is almost completed the construction of two apartment towers to be continued next year by building three apartment towers.
As for the property project in Cambodia, the company has built 1,000 units of treadmill from the overall plan of 4,000 units. For the commercial area, the company has also built a golf course that operated three years ago. Another project in Shenyang, China has also started since 2013 by building 200 home tread units
