INDUSTRY.co.id - Palangkaraya - Chairman of the Democratic National Party (NasDem) Surya Paloh expressed his optimism that national political stability will remain well preserved ahead of the election of regional heads (Pilkada) simultaneously in 2018.

"I have the optimism that political stability can be achieved here," Paloh said in Palangkaraya Central Kalimantan on Sunday (3/12/2017)

Surya Paloh said the potential for political distability still exists but as far as the current observations of such political disturbances does not arise.

He hopes the Indonesian people's kebatinan atmosphere can also be maintained in a conducive condition.

The media entrepreneur also stressed that the Indonesian people can think more strongly in the future.

Paloh advised the Indonesian people not to use the issue of religion for the interests of politics and groups.

"Of course it is sadness for us (should) how to think to see this one nation more powerful in the future," said Paloh as quoted by Antara.

Paloh asserted if the use of religious issues or regional differences remains at issue then Indonesia will not advance.

According to him Indonesia adopted a "super" liberal or free democratic system but the way of thinking does not show liberal democracy.
