INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- President Joko Widodo does not want any regulations issued; it makes it difficult for citizens, workers, businessmen, and investors to invest in Indonesia.

"The key to economic growth today is that there are only two, because our State Budget is unlikely to jump. Two things are important, which can boost our economic growth, first the increase in investment and the second increase in exports," said President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at GOR Ahmad Yani, TNI Headquarters, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, Monday (7/24/2017)

For this reason, President Joko Widodo stressed his ranks to take advantage of the momentum to boost investment and exports.

In a plenary cabinet meeting held Monday afternoon, the Head of State indeed had time to give a reprimand to the ministries and state institutions which he considered still releasing policies that actually add to the bureaucratic chain and complicate the investment.

In fact, as the President said, investment is necessary for the growth of Indonesia's economic growth.

"If there is still a ministerial regulation or regulation of the Director General that actually adds bureaucracy, adding to the intricacy of people who want expansion and investment, yes I reprimand," said the President.

While from the export side, President Joko Widodo also keeps reminding that Indonesia is starting to move to the markets or countries that have not been touched by the export market of Indonesia.

This has actually been conveyed by the President repeatedly in previous occasions.

"Because of exports we are still struggling in the markets which then continues, traditionally, do not dare to step into non-traditional markets that should start work well," he said.

These two things are constantly demanded by the President to his ranks in various occasions.

Because, as is known, the international survey institute "Gallup World Poll" in the latest release published by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) mentions that Indonesia is a country with the highest level of public trust to the government when compared with a number of other countries.

Climate and support the community is certainly expected to further boost investment and the Indonesian economy.

On the same day, in the morning, President Jokowi delivered an introduction to the Plenary Cabinet meeting on the draft State Budget (RAPBN) Year 2018, at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Monday (24/7/2017) Candy, both in the Ministry of Forestry and Environment and in the Ministry of ESDM for example, which in 1-2 months is not responded well by investors, because it is considered to inhibit this investment.

President Jokowi reminds the Ministers of the Cabinet of Work, to be careful in issuing the Ministerial Regulation (Permen). He asked the ministers, so that before issuing something really calculated, calculated, given time to warm up first.

"Communication with the community, with stakeholders is also done first, so do not issue a ministerial regulation (Permen) which this later can hamper the business world and only increase the authority of the ministry itself," said President Jokowi.
