INDUSTRY.co.id - Solo - President Joko Widodo again asked government officials to come down to listen to the aspirations of the people.

"Policymakers, politicians, bureaucrats, social leaders, and even employers should be able to see the situation from the bottom of society, in the interests of the lower society," said President Joko Widodo in Solo, Central Java, Sunday (10/12 / 2017).

The President made the remarks during the commemoration of the 69th World Human Rights Day in Solo attended by Minister of Justice and Human Rights Yasonna H Laoly, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Chief of Staff of President Teten Masduki, special staff of President of Communication Johan Budi Sapto Pribowo, Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo and other officials.

"That's why I often go down, down to the area, go down to the community, dig up their problems, listen to their aspirations, hear their wishes and know in detail the interests of the people," said the President.

That is why the President why he always tried to guard the policy from upstream to downstream.

"Controlling, checking, monitoring, monitoring We always see in the field and it's seen from the side of the public interest I'm sure the good policy is not how much the government has done, but how much the benefits to society, especially the lower society," said President.

To be able to guarantee the social and cultural rights of society and the economy and politics of society, according to the President, the government must work real, concrete work doing real activities.

"Conducting concrete activities, which the people can benefit from, the people, the government is constantly striving for all levels of society to get jobs, earn a decent income even though we know it is not easy," the President said.

He acknowledges that there are still many shortcomings to be improved so that all citizens will have access to health, good education and other basic services.
