INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The newly elected head of the newly appointed Golongan Karya party, Airlangga Hartarto, targets the party he leads to obtain the Public Information Disclosure Award, mainly through the Golkar Fraction activity in the DPR.
"Of course, we start from the work of friends in the Parliament, because one of the performance of political parties in the DPR, there is the function of legislation, supervisory function, public consultation will be multiplied," said Airlangga at the Vice Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Thursday (21 / 12/2017)
The statement was submitted by Airlangga to respond to the fact that Golkar is not included as a recipient of the Public Information Disclosure Award 2017 category of Political Parties with the National Mandate Party (PAN), Gerindra, Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) and Democratic National Party (NasDem) .
To that end, Airlangga, who was just inaugurated as chairman of the Golkar General Assembly (Munaslub) on Wednesday (19/12) at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), asked for time to work to lead the party, including public information disclosure.
"I can’t have Golkar mandate 16 hours, if I am in 'capital market' part of the governance, then we will tidy the governance, but if the political name, there is a 'back door' negotiation. If 'back door' not to be made public, "he told the media crew.
Although Golkar did not get the award, but the Ministry of Industry led by Airlangga has received the Public Information Disclosure Award 2017 Category of Public Agency of the Ministry and is ranked second.
"Alhamdulillah can award the number 2 as the minister of industry, so this appreciation for the past year for the guidance of Pak Rudiatara disclose public information because we often meet with Mr. Rudiantara for 'public communication' problem, so based on that some activities we convey to the media, " he said.
The first rank of category of Ministry of Public Affairs was achieved by the Ministry of Finance and thirdly by the Ministry of Transportation, while the Ministry of Communication and Informatics led by Rudiantara was ranked 7th.
