INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Muslim Brotherhood of Indonesia (Parmusi) has strongly criticized the performance of the economic team of the Jokowi-JK cabinet which is unable to boost economic growth targeting above the 2015 Revised State Budget Expenditure (APBNP) targets.
In APBNP 2017, the economic target is set at 5.2%. However, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani estimates only grew 5.17%.
Chairman of Parmusi Usamah Hisham said next year, all economic ministers are reevaluated. Many experts are suitable to replace the hopper of the minister of economy team.
"The target of economic growth is not targeted, the gap between rich and poor is getting sharply," he said in Jakarta, Friday (22/12/2017).
According to him, Parmusi is not in a position to nominate candidates for economic ministers. Because in the Indonesian society many figures that qualified to manage the team of economic ministers.
"How can target economic growth slip, but human resources and natural resources abundant, our country should be like a company that has a CEO who is in charge of making high dividends," he said.
He expects President Jokowi to hear feedback about the reshuffle of economic ministers. "Economic rearrangements, not if the tax burden to the people, there is a natural potential, for example that can spur exports, but instead imports," he said.
