Amartha CEO Andi Taufan Garuda Putra said that Amartha's financial technology business unit (fintech) comes as a substitute for banking in getting loans to promote the community.

Taufan explained that Amartha touches the rural community so that they gain access to venture capital even if they do not have a bank account. "Amartha provides a more affordable option with a competitive outcome share," he said.
Through the Amartha peer-to-peer platform, investment funds are also secured and investors can immediately know who will be financed like a brooch craftsman, a doorkeeper, a rengginang maker, and so on.
