Fintech Amarta Comes to Ease UMKM to Obtain Loans

Amartha CEO Andi Taufan Garuda Putra said that Amartha's financial technology business unit (fintech) comes as a substitute for banking in getting loans to promote the community.

Amartha said that UMKM is one of the key drivers of the economy in Indonesia, the more Indonesians investing in MSME will automatically also advance the economy while minimizing economic imbalances.

Taufan explained that Amartha touches the rural community so that they gain access to venture capital even if they do not have a bank account. "Amartha provides a more affordable option with a competitive outcome share," he said.
Through the Amartha peer-to-peer platform, investment funds are also secured and investors can immediately know who will be financed like a ooch craftsman, a doorkeeper, a rengginang maker, and so on.
