200 Thousand Visitors Will Take Vacation in Ancol Today

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The management of Taman Impian Jaya Ancol estimates that around 200 thousand visitors will visit the tourism object in North Jakarta, on Monday (1/1/2018).

"We continue to impose parked parking centrally throughout Ancol since yesterday until today at 24.00 pm We have prepared 112 wara-wiri bus and three series of sato-sato train that operate 24 hours," said Corporate Communications Manager of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Rika Lestari in Jakarta, Monday (1/1/20018).

Ancol managers estimate the number of visitors at the turn of the year or Sunday (31/12/2017) night reached 280 thousand people.           

Rika said the number of visitors entering Ancol Dream Park on Sunday (31/12) until 18.00 WIB reached 100,703 people.

"We also provide other supporting facilities throughout the Ancol area, namely 46 toilets, 12 beach guard posts, and 11 ambulances," said Rika.

Ancol managers also deployed a joint team consisting of TNI, Police, Satpol PP DKI Jakarta, Scouting, DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Jakarta Cleanliness Agency, until the tour stopper on Monday.

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol has also set up three zones of events to entertain visitors on Monday such as Betawi and Javanese zones located at Ancol Art Market, Sumatra Zone and Borneo Dolphin Park, and Bali and East Indonesia Zones at Ancol Beach.

Previously, PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol imposed free admission for the owners of Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) since December 1, 2017.

However, Rika said the free admission policy did not apply on the new year's holiday on Sunday (31/12) and Monday (1/1) following the number of visitors on that holiday will increase.
