Push Production Capacity, Sido Muncul Will Inaugurate New Factory

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Manufacturers of traditional herbal medicine, PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) will increase its production capacity by expanding the current plant utility to two-fold.
"The plan will begin to be realized in April 2018. Later on will be inaugurated a new factory that produces products especially in liquid form," said President Director of PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk, Irwan Hidayat to the press in Jakarta, Thursday (4/1/2018 ).
He revealed, the factory will be utilizing a highly automated technology that can increase production greater than today. "The location of the new plant remains in Semarang," said Irwan.
By the end of 2016, SIDO has a production capacity of about 80 million sachets per month with utility rate reaching 85%.
Meanwhile, to boost its export performance, Sido Muncul plans to open a marketing office in the Philippines in March this year.
