End of January 2018, Garuda Open Two Flight Routes from China to Bali

INDUSTRY.co.id - Cengkareng - At the end of January 2018, the national airline Garuda Indonesia will serve the Denpasar route to Zhengzhou and Denpasar to Xi'an. With the opening of this flight route, is one way to facilitate the access of tourists from China to visit Indonesia.
Director of Garuda Indonesia Freight, Sigit Muhartono who oversees the development of international routes Garuda Indonesia revealed, "Opening in 2018 we will operate two international routes to China Xi'an and Zhengzhou destination from Denpasar," he said through a press release received by Industry.co.id , Friday (5/1/2018)
The Chinese market is increasingly playing an important role in Garuda Indonesia's international market. With the international visit of international tourists from China reaching 120 million per year worldwide, we are optimistic to maximize the market potential especially through the opening of Denpasar route to Xi'an and Denpasar to Zhengzhou.
Sigit says that "The opening of two international routes at the beginning of this year simultaneously illustrates the company's optimism in increasing its sharen market growth. Currently Garuda Indonesia's market share on the Indonesian route - China is in the range of 35 percent ".
With the operation of new routes to China is also a part of Garuda Indonesia's support for efforts to increase Bali tourism traffic which previously had erupted Mount Agung eruption activity.
"We are optimistic with the conducive condition of Bali tourism, the opening of this route can be an important moment of increasing international tourist visit to Bali," added Sigit.
The Denpasar flight service to Xi'an is planned to be operational on January 29, 2018 twice a week served by an Airbus A330 fleet of 360 passengers. The flight service departs every Monday and Friday from Denpasar at 16.55 local time and arrives in Xian at 00:25 local time.
The Denpasar flight to Zhengzhou will start operating on 30 January 2018 three times a week which is also served by the Airbus A330-300 fleet. The flight service departs every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from Denpasar at 11:35 local time and arrives in Zengzhou at 18:25 local time.
