MPR Chairman Urges Government to Prevent Rice Price Increase

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR), Zulkifli Hasan asked the government to prevent the increase of rice price so as not to increase the burden of the community.
In a press statement received in Jakarta, Saturday (13/1/2018) Zulkifli who does a national safari in Semarang, explaining the effort that can be done is to perform the operation of the Market of basic needs goods.
"It should not be allowed, people should not get rice because the price is expensive, let alone cause food insecurity," said Zulkifli.
Therefore, he added, the government must immediately carry out market operations on a large scale. The market operation was conducted to suppress the rogue traders who like to hoard, as well as provide opportunities for people to get rice at affordable prices.
"Do not delay, do not let any member of society who experience food insecurity", said Zulkifli Safari nationality MPR Chairman Zulkifli Hasan begins in the city of Semarang. In the capital of Central Java province, the speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly spoke in front of thousands of community representatives from Grobogan, Kudus, Jepara, Rembang, and Semarang. Also attending the ceremony was Vice Speaker of the House Taufik Kurniawan, as well as members of Parliament Fraction PAN Teguh Juwarno and Yayuk Basuki.
