McDonald's New Item
INDUSTRY.co.id - Singapore – Fat Rice Burger, Chendol McFlurry and Bandung McFizz recently sold at McDonald's fast food restaurant on July 13, 2017, suddenly ended the sale of the three items on Tuesday (25/7/2017).
Quoted from the straitstimes, Friday (07/28/2017), In a statement, the three food menu is sold out across the city because of "extraordinary demand".
According to Agatha Yap, McDonald's digital marketing, menu and innovation director in Singapore said, "Given the amount of food we serve, the re-stocking process takes a long time."
Inspired by a dish of Malaysian coconut rice, a brown rice burger consisting of catfish, corn-flavored chicken thigh mixed with spiced marinade, along with fried eggs, caramelized onions and cucumber slices, and softly baked semolina bread.
While McFlurry Chendol is a typical McDonald's type of ice cream dessert with jelly rice flour. For this cendol variant, vanilla ice cream served with a chewy gouramy cendol topping and liquid brown sugar sauce.
He added that burgers are among the most successful food items in recent years. Nearly 750,000 fat rice burgers have been sold. Demand for it is double that of his side.
