Mobilize the Spirit of Young Generation, Holcim Provide Automotive and Electrical Skills Training

INDUSTRY.co.id - Bogor - in 2018, Holcim Indonesia again shows commitment and concern in sustainable development for the community, especially young people coming from Kecamatan Klapanunggal through automotive and electrical skills training programs.
In this regard, Holcim Indonesia cooperates with the Center for Human Resource Development, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) and Bogor Regency Government through Training & Skills Institute (LPK).
A total of 40 elected youngsters will take part in an automotive class and household electrical installations intensively. In addition they will also be provided with post-training certificates that can be used to find employment in relevant fields.
"We hope this training program can improve the skills of young people to be able to compete in the world of work and can be useful in social life," said Community Relations Manager Holcim Indonesia Narogong Factory, Edi Prajitno in Bogor (17/1/2018).
In addition, he continued, We also give motivation to them in order to foster self-confidence so that they also have the opportunity to open business opportunities in accordance with the field that occupied.
Furthermore, Edi said that previously the partnership program with the community that involves the young generation around the operational area of the Narogong factory has been implemented since 2013 and involves more than 400 youth from Klapanunggal District.
"We are committed to support the creation of a better community life with an emphasis on independence in accordance with the target of sustainable development of the company," explained Edi.
In the future, he continued, the company expects more and more young people and communities to engage with programs run by Holcim Indonesia in order to improve living standards to achieve community prosperity.
