INDUSTRY.co.id - Manado - This year, PT Angkasa Pura I Sam Ratulangi Airport (Samrat) Manado, North Sulawesi, will serve the route rental route Manado-China (China).
"We have got the flight schedule for Manado-China lease, and Samrat Airport is ready to serve," said Samrat Airport General Manager Minggus E T Gandeguai in Manado on Thursday (25/1/2018).

He said, Samrat airport is basically very ready because the potential is still very large. During 2017 alone, Chinese passengers who went out and went to North Sulawesi via Sam Ratulangi Airport amounted to 164,954 passengers, with the most passengers from Guangzhou which is a number of 51,622 passengers.
The total average air traffic movement during 2017, the plane 2,324 flights per month, 226,128 passengers per month, and a cargo of 1,142,609 kg per month.
Minggus said, accompanied by an increase in the number of aircraft movements by four percent with the number 27,890 and the cargo movement increased 13%, or a number of 13,711,312 kg.
He said the growth of international passengers plays a major role in increasing the number of passengers at Sam Ratulangi Airport in Manado.
"The number of international passengers by 170,384 increased to 77% compared to the year 2016 which the number of international passengers of 96,210," explained Minggus.
