Kominfo Blocks 14 Special Social Networking Applications LGBT

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology closes the access of LGBT or Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) social network applications named Blued that have entered Indonesia.
"After coordinating with Google, starting on January 28, 2018 at 00.30 pm, the Google has suspended so that Blued applications cannot be found and revoked on Google Playstore Indonesia," said Plt Information Center and Public Relations Kemenkominfo, Noor Iza, Monday (29/1 / 2018).
He said on January 15, 2018 the Ministry of Communications and Informatics has done some action to send a request to Google to make a takedown (Termination) 73 applications with LGBT from the Google Play Store.
"We blocked 15 Domain Name Servers (DNS) from 14 existing LGBT apps on the google play store, and filed Facebook against one LGBT group that disturbed the public for suspend," he pleaded.
During January 2018, he said, as many as 169 sacrilegious LGBT sites have been blocked. Not only that, there are 72,407 pornographic immoral content has been handled in this January. With regard to Blued apps, the 9 DNS they have has been blocked like.
He added that since January 25, 2018 has been discontinued as many as three Ip Address from Blued sites and applications that contain violations of social culture values and norms that are often used its use to spread pornographic content during its presence in the world of cyber and has been disturbing the people of Indonesia.
