Donny said Kemenkominfo is working with platforms committed to patrol content containing terrorism and radicalism. Donny said that Kemenkominfo also coordinates with ministries / agencies, such as the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Human Rights (Kemekopolhukam), Police Headquarters, State Intelligence Agency (BIN), and social media community in monitoring the movement of content on the internet.

Related to terrorist acts in Surabaya, he said the government and the platform are intensifying in a number of steps. First, improve the performance of the content-scaling engine or AIS. Every two hours crawling (crawling) content of terrorism / radicalism with certain keywords. Furthermore, if indicated, proceed with the blocking process.
