Half Day Break, JCI Closes Stronger to 6,622 Positions

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (IDX) closed up 0.71% or 46 points to 6,622 in the first trading session on Wednesday (31/01/2018) compared to the previous day's trading closing level at 6,575.
JCI during the first session of trading today moved in the range 6,522-6,627. A total of 198 stocks rose in price, 133 stocks fell, 135 stagnant shares and 147 shares were not traded at all.
Total transaction value in all BEI market segments stood at Rp5.74 trillion. It consists of transaction value in the Regular Market valued at Rp4.41 trillion and in Negotiated Market of Rp1.32 trillion.
Total trading volume reached 122.92 million lots of shares, resulting from 236,934 times transactions. Foreign investors booked net sales of Rp417.82 billion. Their net sales volume was recorded at 1.26 million lots.
Eight out of nine indexes of BEI are green. The index of miscellaneous industry sectors increased the highest, ie 2.38% or 33.46 points to the position of 1.437. Then followed by index of basic industry sector and index of infrastructure sector which each strengthened 1,11% and 1,08%.
LQ45 stocks that experienced price increases and became top gainers were BRPT whose price rose by 6% or Rp150 to Rp2,650 per unit, ASII whose price was raised 2.97% or Rp250 to Rp8,675 per unit and BMTR that price increased 2 , 84% or Rp20 to Rp725 per unit.
Meanwhile, the top losers of LQ45 are MYRX whose price dropped by 3.48% or Rp4 to Rp111 per unit, ADRO which cost 1.18% or Rp30 to Rp2,520 per unit and BJBR whose price is eroded 0, 86% or Rp20 to Rp2,310 per unit. (Abraham Sihombing)
