INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (IDX) closed down 0.14% or 10 points to 6,525 in the first trading session Thursday (08/02/2018) compared to the previous day's level at 6,534.
The decline was caused by the depreciation of 172 stock prices in the first session of trading today. In addition, 163 stocks experienced price increases, 107 stagnant shares and 172 shares were not traded at all.
Transaction value across all BEI market segments reached Rp3.49 trillion. It consists of transaction value in the Regular Market of Rp3, 09 trillion, Negotiated Market worth Rp404, 81 billion and in the Cash Market of Rp393, 72 million.
Trading volume was recorded at 80.26 million lots, resulting from 183,941 transactions. Foreign investors booked net sales of Rp252.32 billion with net sales of 590,667 lot lots.
As many as five of the nine indexes of BEI have decreased. The consumer sector index declined 0.69% or 19.81 points to 2,861. Then followed by agriculture sector index and trade index which each eroded by 0,17% and 0,07%.
LQ45 stocks that decline in price and become top losers are BMTR whose price is trimmed 3.05% or Rp20 to Rp635 per unit, HMSP price decrease 1.62% or Rp80 to Rp4.850 per unit and MNCN whose price dropped 1 , 61% or Rp25 to Rp1,525 per unit.
The LQ45 stocks that became the top gainers in the first session of trading today is the AKRA price increased 2.25% or Rp125 to Rp5.675 per unit, BUMI whose price was raised 1.99% or Rp6 to Rp308 per unit and BRPT the price increased by 1.67% or Rp40 to Rp2,440 per unit. (Abraham Sihombing)
