Half-Day Rest, JCI Closes Up to 6,520 Positions

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (IDX) closed higher to 6,520, rising 0.24% or 15 points at the end of the first trading session Monday (12/02/2018) compared to the position at the end of last week in position 6505.

During the first session of trading today, JCI moved in the range of 6,498-6,529. There were 270 stocks that experienced price increases, 108 stocks fell, 95 stagnant shares and 141 shares were not transacted at all.

Total transaction value in all market segments of BEI reached Rp3, 69 trillion. It consists of transaction value in the Regular Market of Rp2.91 trillion and in Negotiated Market worth Rp775.77 billion.

Total trading volume was recorded at 80.66 million lots of shares, resulting from 209,886 times of transactions. Foreign investors booked net selling of Rp136.69 billion. But their activities that, until now still record the net purchase volume of 862,208 lot shares.

Six of the nine sectoral indices of BEI are green. The index of agriculture sector experienced the largest increase, which amounted to 1.09% or 17.37 points to 1.618 positions. Then followed by index of property sector and index of infrastructure sector which each increase 0,88% and 0,7%.

LQ45 stocks that experienced price and became top gainers were MYRX whose price rose 34.15% or Rp42 to Rp165 per unit, SRIL whose price rose by 5.49% or Rp18 to Rp346 per unit and BUMI whose price increased 4.67 % or Rp14 to Rp314 per unit.

The LQ45 stocks that become top losers are TPIA whose price is eroded by 10.86% or Rp725 to Rp5,950 per unit, INTP whose price decreases 2.29% or Rp500 per unit to position Rp21.300 per unit and UNTR price down 2.27% or Rp875 to Rp37,725 per unit. (Abraham Sihombing)
