INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, Family car segment under the alias low multi-purpose vehicle up to now still be the most favorite for the people of Indonesia.
From the sales, family car segment low multi purpose vehichle (MPV) is still the highest compared to other types of cars.
Based on sales data released by the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) as of January 2018, the total sales of low MPV last month reached 24,642 units. This figure is up compared to sales in the same period last year, 19,649 units.
Interestingly, the latest MPV whiz that presented Mitsubishi through Xpander and Wuling through Confero get a very positive response from the public.
As a result, with the data makes the low-class MPV car sales competition in the country becomes increasingly tight.
Until now, Toyota Avanza is still so low MPV best-selling throughout January 2018 with 7.543 units Raihan. However, Xpander seems to be overshadowed strictly with the sale of 7,079 units.
In third position, there is a twin Avanza, namely Daihatsu Xenia with sales figures 3,912 units. Meanwhile, the fourth and fifth positions, each occupied by Suzuki Ertiga and Honda Mobilio with sales of 3,223 units and 1,847 units respectively.
