Avoid Blocking, Minister of Communications and Informatics: Prepaid Promotion Deadline February 28, 2018

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Ministry of Communications and Informatics said the number of prepaid sim card that has been re-registered reached 242,462,275 customers.
Director General of Post and Informatics Implementation Ahmad M Ramli again said that customers and anyone should be reminded to use NIK and KK data correctly and entitled.
Using NIK and KK data of others without rights is prohibited and is against the law.
Communities are also requested not to register with NIK and KK Numbers uploaded by irresponsible parties on the internet. The purpose of this re-registration is for the security and convenience of customers, minimizing fraud and criminal acts and including facilitating the tracking of lost HP.
The Prepaid Card Registration Program that started on 31st of October 2017 will end on February 28, 2018.
In relation to this matter, the remaining time to stay for a few days should be used by the community to register, because if until the deadline the customer does not register will be subject to gradual blocking of telecommunication services and will be totally blocked on 28 April 2018, he explained.
But during the blocking period, people still can register through SMS, website, and come directly to the operator outlet. Special SMS registration service to 4444 can continue to be used by people who want to register.
