INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) closed down 0.42% or 28 points to position 6.615 at the end of the first session of trading Thursday (22/02/2018) is compared to the position at the end of trading one day earlier in the level 6.643.
The index's sharp decline at mid-day breaks was caused by a 178 stock price decline, the majority of which were shares of various industry sectors. It can be seen from the index of miscellaneous industry sector BEI which eroded 0.8% or 11.23 points to the position of 1.358.
In addition, there were 147 stocks that experienced price increases, 139 stagnant shares and 151 shares were not transacted at all. During the first session of trading today, JCI moved in the range of 6,615-6,648.
The total transaction value in all BEI market segments was recorded at Rp3.46 trillion. It consists of transaction value in the Regular Market worth Rp3.16 trillion, Negotiated Market amounting to Rp295.48 billion and Cash Market worth Rp 5.55 million.
The total trading volume reached 70.44 million lots of shares, resulting from 217,733 times the transaction. Foreign investors booked net sales of Rp127.37 billion with net sales of 1.14 million lots.
In addition to the multifarious industry sector, other sectors driving the decline of the JCI in the first session today were the financial and trade sectors. Financial sector index and trade sector index each shrank 0.75% and 0.58% respectively.
LQ45 stocks whose prices are trimmed and become top losers are BBNI whose price is eroded by 3.69% or Rp375 to Rp9.800 per unit, LPPF whose price decreased by 2.36% or Rp250 to Rp10.325 per unit and MNCN whose price is shrinking 2.21% or Rp35 to Rp1,550 per unit.
Meanwhile, LQ45 stocks that still top gainers are MYRX whose price is raised by 2.38% or Rp4 to Rp172 per unit, BRPT whose price rises 1.18% or Rp30 to Rp2,570 per unit and TRAM whose price increases 1 , 13% or Rp4 to Rp358 per unit. (Abraham Sihombing)
