Witnessed by Five Jokowi Ministers, Mitsubishi Deliver 10 Electric Cars to the Government of Indonesia

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, Mitsubishi Motors officially handed over 10 units of electric vehicles to the Indonesian government through the Ministry of Industry.
The handover was directly handed over by Mitsubishi Motors CEO Osamu Matsuki to Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto.
In his speech, Airlangga Hartarto said, this is an extraordinary thing. It also at once became Mitsubishi's commitment to develop its investment in Indonesia.
"This is a follow-up of the cooperation between Mitsubishi Motors and the Government of Indonesia in the agreement on Electric Vehicles in Indonesia," Airlangga said in the Electricity Handover Ceremony of Mitsubishi at Ministry of Industry Office, Jakarta, Monday (26/2/2018).
To that end, Airlangga gave appreciation to Mitsubishi Motor Corporation (MMC) and PT Mitsubishi Motor Krama Yudha Indonesia for cooperation in the framework of joint study and socialization of electric car usage in Indonesia.
"We hope that this partnership will be a positive step in accelerating the development of national automotive industry technology that is environmentally friendly with low carbon emissions," Airlangga said.
The ten electric vehicles delivered by Mitsubishi for the Indonesian government are 8 units of Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, 2 units of i-MiEV electric vehicle and 4 units of quick charger.
In the handover ceremony were attended by Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, LHK Minister Siti Nurbaya Bakar, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Deputy Minister of Finance Mardiasmo, and representatives from the Head of BPPT.
