Astra Otoparts Net Profit Grows by 31.85% in 2017

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (AUTO), a subsidiary of Astra, which produces motor vehicle components, posted a net profit of Rp551.41 billion in 2017. This indicates an increase of 31.85 percent compared to 2014's profit of Rp418.20 billion.
The profit growth was derived from AUTO's sales increase in 2017 by 5.8 percent to Rp13.55 trillion compared to 2016's sales of Rp12.81 trillion.
The increase in sales resulted in an increase in cost of goods sold in 2017 to Rp11.79 trillion compared to Rp10.95 trillion in 2016.
As a result, AUTO posted a gross profit of Rp1.76 trillion in 2017, or a relatively 5.38% lower compared to Rp1.86 trillion in 2016.
Meanwhile, AUTO's total assets in 2017 stood at Rp14.76 trillion, an increase of 1.03% from 2014 at Rp14.61 trillion while total equity in 2017 amounted to Rp10, 76 trillion and liability of Rp 4trillion. (Abraham Sihombing)
