President Jokowi Inaugurates Heru Winarko to Become Head of BNN

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - President Joko Widodo inaugurated Heru Winarko as the Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) to replace Komjen Pol Budi Waseso who enters retirement.

The inauguration was conducted at the State Palace based on Presidential Decree Number 14 / M Year 2018 on the Dismissal and Appointment of the Head of BNN dated 28 February 2018.

Heru also pronounced the oath of office headed by President Joko Widodo which reads: "By Allah I swear that I will be faithful and obedient to the 1945 Constitution and will carry out all laws and regulations for the sake of my darma devotion to the nation and state. I am in the duties of office will uphold the ethics of office work with the best and with full sense of responsibility. Hope Allah SWT provide ease and strength in carrying out the mandate," Heru was previously Deputy Penekakan KPK inaugurated on October 15, 2015.

A graduate of the Police Academy in 1985 also served as a Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs in the field of ideology and constitution.

In 2012, Heru served as Lampung Police Chief and served at the Special Economic Directorate of Police Headquarters in 2009 and the Directorate of Corruption at Police Headquarters in 2010.

Heru has also been awarded numerous services such as Satya Lencana Kesetiaan VIII, Satya Lencana Kesetiaan XVI, Satya Lencana Kesetiaan XXIV, Satya Lencana Dwidja Sistha, Satya Lencana Karya Bhakti, Satya Lencana Knight Tamtama and Bintang Bhayangkara Nararya.
