Astra Innovation Gets Internal Resource Benefits

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Astra International Tbk, held the 34th InnovAstra. InnovAstra becomes an annual event to accommodate Insan Astra to showcase the innovative capability while rewarding the best innovators of Astra Group who has created an improvement and innovation project in their company.

"Astra Innovation is regularly held to remind Insan Astra that continuous innovation is the main thing to maintain the sustainability of the company. Innovation does not just mean making something that does not exist into being, but also to cultivate what is already for the better. Therefore I always try to provide added value for customers," said President Director of PT Astra International Tbk Prijono Sugiarto in Jakarta, Wednesday (28/2/2018).

He mentioned, there are five categories that are competed in the event InnovAstra every year. In the year 2018, the details of InnovAstra's category of projects are Suggestion System (SS) or Suggestion System is an individual category improvement and innovation, Quality Control Circle (QCC) is an intergration and team category innovation in one department.

Quality Control Project (QCP) is a cross-departmental team of Intergraph and innovations in a division, Business Performance Improvement (BPI), which is a cross-division team of innovation and innovation in one company and Value Chain Innovation (VCI), which started in 2012, and cross-company team category innovation.

"The total project generated from the above five categories since the beginning of implementation, from 1983 to 2018, reached 8,203,819 projects," he said.
