DPP PPP Invites Nahdliyyin Realize Election of East Java Peace

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - General Chairman of the DPP United Development Party (PPP) M Romahurmuziy invites Nahdlatul Ulama or Nahdliyyin residents as the majority in East Java to realize a peaceful regional election in the province.

"Different choices in politics is a natural thing so there is no need to cause hostility," said Rommy, greeting familiar, while attending Istighatsah Pilkada Damai held Movement of adherents Khittah Nahdliyah (PPKN) in Surabaya, Saturday (03/03/2018) quoted from broadcast the press.

Rommy said it was related to the election of East Java governor with two candidates for governor, who are both NU cadres, namely Khofifah Indar Parawansa whose one party is the PPP and Saifullah Yusuf.

He said NU should take part in development in East Java, one of which is by placing the best NU cadres at the provincial head.

"Alhamdulillah PPP sent Mrs. Khofifah and Mas Emil Dardak, hopefully elected," said Rommy in the event initiated by NU East Java leader Choirul Anam (Cak Anam).

Rommy said PPP chose to carry Khofifah because the General Chairman of NU Muslimat who is also a former social minister is believed to be able to take care of East Java Province with a straight and clean. He hopes Nahdliyyin also has the same choice.

"Do not entrust to people who are not seriously care for the province, should entrust to people who seriously take care of the province," said great-great-grandson of NU founder KH Wahab Hasbullah.

The event that was held at Graha Astranawa was attended by Khofifah along with thousands of NU and Muslimat NU, as well as a number of scholars, namely KH Sholeh Qosim, KH Suyuti Toha, KH Afifudin Muhajir, KH Robach Ma'sum, KH Hafidz Ma'sum, KH Masykur Hasjim, and KH Khusun Khuluq.
