Press Credit Risk, Kemenkop Push Cooperative Use SID

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- The Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs encourages cooperatives to use the Debtor Information System (SID) in order to minimize credit risk. Until now there are only 3 cooperatives who joined or become members of SID, there are Kospin Jasa in Pekalongan, Maumere Obor Mas In NTT and Sahabat Mitra Sejati in Jakarta.
Deputy for Financing Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs Braman Setyo said the benefits of SID is very important both for members and cooperatives even for the government and society. For example for members of credit quality cooperatives will be guaranteed, as well as the reputation of loans in access to loans from credit agencies.
As for the benefit of cooperatives as supporting information in loan analysis, facilitate the decision making of cooperative loan approval as well as efficiency of channeling cooperative loans.
"For the government the creation of a healthy credit industry and expand access to finance to micro business actors," said Braman through a press release on Tuesday (1/8/2017).
It was also conveyed that if the cooperative in Indonesia can utilize SID will be given easy access to the loan to the Lembaga Dana Bergulir (LPDB).
To be noted, savings and loan business has been recorded as many as 110,189 units and the number of members 20.8 million people. Loans granted amounted to Rp 65.57 trillion and assets of Rp 86.81 trillion.
