Support UKM, A total of 7 SPLU From PLN Enter Karimun

INDUSTRY.co.id - Riau Islands - Soon the traders or small and medium businessmen of Karimun Regency, Riau Islands will be able to feel the benefits of the General Electricity Supply Station (SPLU) which is the innovation and solution provided by PLN because the 7 SPLU units have entered the district.

Seventh SPLU will be spread on three islands in Karimun regency, namely Karimun Island, Moro Island and Kundur Island.

On Karimun Island, SLPU is located in five locations namely, Flower Garden, Night Market, Liplift Recloser, Kolong Home BCA and Simpang Coastal Area.

While the other two located on Kundur Island, precisely in Pasar Aka Lama and on Moro Island located on Jalan Besar Moro. SPLU installation process takes about two weeks.

This is the first time SPLU goes to Karimun Regency. Previously, SPLU had entered first in Bintan, Anambas and Tanjung Pinang.

The presence of SPLU in Karimun Island is a form of concern and support of PLN through CSR PLN Peduli towards the growth of small-scale businesses in the island's green areas, such as by roads and ports. So far, local traders use genset or channel from home residents.

"SPLU will provide security and certainty of electricity used to pursue their business," said Director of Regional Business of Sumatra PLN, Wiluyo Kusdwiharto during delivery ceremony SPLU in Karimun power plant, Karimun Island, Friday (2/3/2018).

The handover of the aid was conducted in conjunction with the inauguration of 17 diesel engines with a total capacity of 17,000 kW at PLTD Carok, Karimun Island. Assistance was handed by Riau Islands Governor Nurdin Basirun.
