INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Management of PT Hanson International Tbk (MYRX) will allocate Rp500 billion to finance capital expenditure (capex) of the company in 2018.
"Most of the capex funds will be used to finance the purchase of new land to boost the company's landbank this year," said Benny Tjokrosaputro, Commissioner of MYRX, in Jakarta, recently.
Benny was reluctant to disclose at any location the company will buy new land for additional reserves of the company. But in principle, MYRX management will continue to buy new land that is twice as wide as the total land area sold in the previous year.
However, MYRX management has not set specific targets for the area to be acquired this year. However, MYRX management only gives the budget ceiling so that the total acquired land will depend on the price of the land.
Until the end of December 2017, MYRX has a reserve area of 4,785 hectares (ha). The company's 3,260 ha reserves are located in Maja and Lebak, both located in Banten Province. An area of 850 ha of reserve land is located in Serpong and Tangerang, both of which are located in Banten Province.
While the various reserves of the company located in other locations on average have an area of less than 500 ha. The Company has a reserve area of 471 ha in Bekasi, covering an area of 146 ha in Cengkareng and covering an area of 58 ha in Tigaraksa. (Abraham Sihombing)
