Wednesday, the Remains of the Matahari Boss was cremated in Bali

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The retail world is grieving. The reason is that one of the major retailers of retail trade in Indonesia has passed away; the Association of Indonesian Retail Entrepreneurs (Aprindo) Bali said businessmen in the country, especially retail, lost the figure of Darmawan entrepreneur as well as the boss of Matahari Department Store.

"With his cold hand (Hari Darmawan), he built Matahari Department Store to become one of the best-performing retail companies in the stock market," said Secretary of DPD Aprindo Bali I Made Abdi Negara in Denpasar on Sunday (13/3).

Association of Indonesian Retailers (Aprindo) Bali said business players in the country, especially retail, lost the figure of Hari Darmawan entrepreneur as well as the boss of Matahari Department Store.

"With his cold hand (Hari Darmawan), he built Matahari Department Store to become one of the best-performing retail companies in the stock market," said Secretary of DPD Aprindo Bali I Made Abdi Negara in Denpasar on Sunday (13/3).

According to Abdi, the late Hari Darmawan is an inspiration for retailers in Indonesia to build the regional economy, so that the 77-year-old man's death leaves grief not only for families but also retailers, especially in Bali.

"During his lifetime, the Makassarese businessman also served as Chairman of DPP Aprindo and is currently one of the Members of the Board of Honor of DPP Aprindo," he said.

Previously founder of Matahari Department Store, Hari Darmawan, was found dead in Ciliwung River, Bogor, West Java on Saturday (10/3) morning.

The body was finally found in Ciliwung River about 100 meters from the location of the loss of the victim.

Bogor Resort Police is still investigating the death of the businessman who is also the founder of Matahari Tourism Park in Cisarua.

Darmawan's body was then flown to Bali and buried in the funeral home of Kertha Semadi, Denpasar, Sunday (11/3) early morning.

The plan, the corpse will be cremated in Krematorium Taman Mumbul, Nusa Dua, Badung regency on Wednesday (14/3).
