100 Companies Join The Largest Science and Technology Exhibition in Indonesia

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - To realize an independent Indonesia in the field of science, technology and innovation, is now coming soon Bekraf Habibie Festival 2017. This event will be held at the Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran on 7-13 August 2017.

Unlike last year, the Bekraf Habibie Festival 2017 was conducted on a larger scale, in terms of programs, themes, activities, and participants. There will be more than 100 companies and communities participating and exhibiting IPTEK products and innovations.

With the theme "Technology and Innovatoon for People" (View, Touch, and Feel the Latest Technology for a Better Future), the organizers target visitors who attended the event as many as over 100,000 visitors. This target is up from last year's total of more than 56,000 visitors over 4 days.

"The desired positive impact is to open the eyes of the community what can be expected from life-changing innovation technology," said the Founder and Chairman of the Indonesian Working Movement and Habibie Festival Ilham, Akbar Habibie, at the Habibie Festival 2017 Press Conference at The Habibie & Ainun Library, Jakarta (2/8).

Later this event will be held a variety of workshops, exhibitions, and talk shows from experts in the field. In addition, there will be IPTEK Indonesia innovation products exhibited such as the CN-250 cockpit of the collection from PT Dirgantara Indonesia, PT Pindad heavy equipment collection, high tech ambulance vehicle belonging to RS Siloam, and various food truck innovations.

The festival is also supported by national companies such as PT Telkomsel, Bank BRI, Bank Mandiri, Sampoerna Foundation, PT Sritex, PT Batik Keris, LINE, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, PT PAL, PT Pindad, Jakarta Eye Center, Pollux International, PT Commuterline, General Electric, and PT Priotech.
