INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta -PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk or PGN increases the number of natural gas customers for industrial sector in Sidoarjo, East Java and Medan, North Sumatra.
PGN corporate secretary, Hutama Rachmat said, PGN is committed to continue to understand the needs and customer satisfaction in the utilization of natural gas, to distribute natural gas to customers. Starting from residential and small business, commercial and industrial customers, as well as transportation.
This time, PGN is committed to channeling the energy benefits of gas from the two industries in Sidoarjo and Medan. "Recently, we are adding PGN gas customers in Sidoarjo and Medan Area, both of which are industrial groups," Rachmat said in a statement. Written in Jakarta, Friday (23/3/2018).
Rachmat revealed new customers in the Sidoarjo area came from PT Nusa Palapa Gemilang. The company is engaged in the fertilizer industry. The company absorbs gas by 55 thousand cubic meters per month.
The volume of gas distribution, the supply can increase according to the real needs of the industry. Before getting the gas supply, the company uses coal as fuel for its production activities. "So far, they use coal for their fuel production needs," said Rachmat.
Not much different from PT Nusa Palapa PT Citra Abadi Medan Alfo become consumers of natural gas after had always use coal. Currently, companies producing household appliances such as windows, cabinets, stairs, and aluminum doors are feeling the greater benefits of using natural gas "The cost of production is more efficient and natural gas is cleaner and environmentally friendly," said Rachmat .
In addition to Sidoarjo, PGN Medan Area distributes 240 thousand cubic meters of gas per month to PT Alfo Citra Abadi.
